Wage: $60,000.00-$75,000.00

Our main office and yard are located just outside of Elmira, Ontario; a second office/yard is located in Toronto.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Training Manager to lead our training and career development initiatives. In this key role, you will develop and implement impactful training programs, provide personalized career coaching to our employees, and ensure that all team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

Responsibilities:

Training & Development

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and opportunities for growth.
  • Create engaging training materials, including manuals and presentations.
  • Lead interactive workshops, seminars, and training sessions(this includes on-site time)
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives using feedback and performance metrics.

Employee Development

  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify high-potential employees and craft individualized development plans.
  • Promote and facilitate a culture of continuous learning and career advancement.
  • Organize mentorship programs and encourage peer-to-peer development.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development.

Administrative & Organizational Support

  • Maintain detailed records of training activities, employee progress, and recruitment metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports on training effectiveness and employee development outcomes.
  • Manage the training and development budget and coordinate with external vendors when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in landscape installation and management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team.
  • Adaptable, with a strong capacity for change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Empathetic and approachable, with a genuine passion for helping employees succeed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in coaching or related areas (e.g., Certified Professional Coach, SHRM-CP, CPLP).
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: $60,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience

Location: Hybrid. 7215 Wellington Rd 86, Wallenstein ON with crews working around KW & Guelph, and 25 Esandar Dr Toronto, ON M4G 4C5.
